Summer Screams

Hello everyone. This is Connar Frazier, and I’d like to invite you to join me this summer for a 3 part anthology titled Connar Frazier’s Summer Screams: A 3-Part Anthology Of Eerie Tales For Boring Summer Days. I am sure you are all  aware of the feeling: it’s the middle of summer, and you have absolutely NOTHING to do. It is one of the worst feelings out there, I know. So, in order to rid myself, and hopefully, you, of those boring summer days, I will be releasing a story each month, in hopes that it will at least lessethe boredom a bit. Who knows, there may be some fun activities to go along with them. The first chilling tale, Jelly Worms from Pluto, will be released June 8th. Won’t you join me?

HERE’S AN EXCERPT FROM THE FIRST CHILLING TALE, “JELLY WORMS FROM JUPITER” –

I’m not really sure what happened next. I remember my eyes shooting open. I looked around. I thought I saw something. A shadow darted across the floor. I sat up.

What was that?

Holy crap, there it goes again!

I heard hard, labored breathing.

Wheezing.

Hissing.

And it was coming from under my bed.

I tried not to let out a gasp. Ever so slowly I reached for my phone. I couldn’t feel it anywhere.

I started to whisper.

Cooper….

No response.

Cooper, Cooper please…..

Once again the cabin was pitch black. I noticed that the wind  had stopped blowing. There was not a sound.

Cooper…..

More silence.

I slowly reached for my phone again. This time I found it. I shined it onto Cooper’s bunk.

Cooper…..

I reached a little further, trying to see onto his bed.

Cooper….

Cooper, answer me….

Please…..

Cooper……

I felt something drip onto my left arm.

Blood.
